A rare Karrier Bantam AMV222, a 58CWT truck first registered 1936/37, and re-registered in 1946 after being used by the Ministry of Defence during the second world war. Comes with a V5, the previous owner was a Bus Museum. The vehicle has been fully restored by the current owner and comes from his workshop to the auction. All new tyres. The vehicle was built by Karrier who later became Commer. Selling with the vehicle are Karrier Commercial Motors Drivers Instruction Book, Bantam Parts List, and Spare Parts List as well as some research documentation and receipts. The lot also includes a print after Malcolm Root the famous transport artist, of a scene from a boyhood memory of Guernsey airport, this inspired the trucks colour scheme. The vehicle has not been road tested.
